The Letter to the Church in Thyatira is the 4th of seven letters sent from Jesus to churches in Asia Minor. Jesus has the Apostle John warn them of the continuing toleration of a wicked woman in their midst. This woman, referred to as Jezebel, is causing many in the church to partake in perverted sex and superstition through idol worship rather than being fully devoted to the Lord. But Jesus reassures them these evils are fleeting and no match for the honor He bestows upon those who continue in love, faith, service and patient endurance.
