Paul and Timothy tell the Colossians they are always thanking God that only the Gospel bears fruit throughout the whole world. This was true in Colossae, too, as a man named Epaphras had delivered the Gospel to them and reported it’s work in and though the church there. The call is to every believer living in the Good News of Christ, that we too may be “an Epaphras” living in the Gospel and bringing it to others so eternal fruit may come through Christ.
