Continuing to expand on the supremacy of Jesus, Paul writes of Jesus being before all things and that He Holds all things together. The other Scriptures also confirm these statements by saying Jesus has always existed and will always exist, while also keeping all things in creation held together by the powerful “glue” of His Word. This includes the believer, who keeps us together with Him in our salvation by His work and promise.
