Hezekiah was a king of right heart in the eyes of God. This is the beginning of his story. At the age of twenty-five, Hezekiah became King of Judah. As all the other kings before him, he had a decision to make: Follow the Lord or not. Fortunately — for both he and the nation — he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord: Removing idolatry, trusting God, and obeying His commands.
