Upon being healed, Hezekiah fails to return proper thanks to the Lord due to having a prideful heart. It’s a hard word, but the Lord must make us understand every bit of sin in us has its root in pride. As was true for Hezekiah, we are in need of a humble heart, which can only come to a heart having received the Grace of God to restore Jesus to His proper place…King of Everything in our lives.
